Blood Donation 2009 - Photo Gallery 1
On the occasion of 147th Jayanthi Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda, Blood Donation Camp was organised in the College on 19th and 20th January, 2009 by NSS. There was a great response from the students, the staff and the monks of the College. A total of 1045 members donated their blood. All the donated blood will be used, free of charge, for the poor needy patients.
The Blood Banks from the following hospitals / societies have participated:

- Stanley Govt. Hospital, Royapuram

- Govt. General Hospital, Chennai
- Indian Red Cross
At the request of a Blood Bank, eight students postponed their blood donation to 30th January 2009, to cater for the requirement of fresh blood during a major operation of a poor needy patient.
Therefore the total number of blood donations will be 1053.
