The Department currently offers B.Sc Computer Science and B.C.A courses.
Salient Features of the Course Content
The course curriculum has been structured to equip the students in diverse field of computer science and computer applications. Visual Basic 6.0 has been included in the curriculum to train the students to become application developers. To get an idea of mainframes, COBOL subject has been included. To cater to the web design, subjects like VB Script, Java Script, Asp.Net and J2EE are included. Subjects like RDBMS concepts, Data mining and Warehousing and Oracle trains the students in database administration. The students are also exposed to network administration through subjects like Computer Networks. Subjects like OOAD and Software Engineering helps the students to orient them as project managers. The curriculum contains a mini project to help the students to actually work and experience a real-time project.
