2010-2011
Prof. A. Seshachalam had conducted 36 Workshops bringing awareness in various city Colleges about International Accounting Standards / International Financial Reporting Standards as India is converging into IAS/IFRS from 2011. He was the speaker of the session on Accounting Standards at Ethiraj college for Women on “Curriculam Development” for the Department of Business Studies.
Prof. T. Chandramouli attended a Public Lecture, a National Seminar, and Orientation Programme and published an article titled ‘The Balance of Payments in India during the New Millenium’.
Dr. K. Krishnamurthy presented papers on “Mutual Fund – A New Horizon of Capital Market Intermediaries”, “Customer Relationship Management Practices in New Private Sector Banks – A Changing Scenario”, “CRM – in Global Perspectives”, “Emerging Issues in Indian Banking Sector”, “Customer Relationship Management with Special Reference to Banking Sector”, “Futuristic Perspectives of Colleges of Arts and Science in Changing Global Scenario” in various notable institutions.
Mr. X. Vincent Santhanam Jayakumar presented papers at State Level Seminar and International Conference organized by Quaid-E-Milath College for Women and Loyola College respectively.
Prof. A.V.S. Raamkumar presented a paper on “Emerging trends in Life Insurance Sector” at a UGC sponsored National Level Staff seminar organized by Sri Sharada College for Women, Salem.He also presented a paper on “Globalisation and its Impact on Indian Economy” at a UGC sponsored National Level Seminar organized by D.B. Jain College, Chennai.
Prof. K.V. Krishnakumar attended the Refresher Course sponsored by UGC conducted by Academic Staff College at the Dept. of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Madras during July 2010.
Prof. M. Ramesh published an article titled “Emerging Trends in Indian Organised Retail Sector” in SRM Journal of Management Research.
